Contensis is the name of the University’s Content Management System (CMS) which produces the external University web pages as well as this intranet site. The CMS is produced by a company called Zengenti. Application Services (IT Services) is responsible for: Developing web templates; Managing the website information architecture within the CMS

Contensis is a Content Management System (CMS) by Zengenti. Everything you see on the University of Nottingham website is created and managed using Contensis. To manage websites in Contensis, it’s not essential to know HTML, CSS or any other programming languages (although sometimes it helps).

Website authentication and security
The login page should have the Contensis login control on the page and the access denied page should have some text explaining that the user doesn’t have permissions to access the content they are trying to access. Assign permissions.
